Okay I’m to cut the crap here and tell you from my experience what are the best B2B marketing strategies that are working for me and my clients today.

Is not just another article where someone’s giving thoughts and theories and things like this.

I’m sharing advice with you from what’s working in the market right now and actually generating money.

Here’s what’s working best for us today:

  • email marketing
  • look search engine marketing is no joke if you can make it work for your business.

    Search marketing put you in front of your customers when they’re looking for what you have to sell.

    If you spend any time cold calling you know how difficult selling that way is.

    Search engine marketing allows you to solve the timing issue in sales.

    You no longer have to chase people around,rather you get in front of them when they want to talk to you and this is huge!

    Search engine marketing has helped me bring in more than $1 million in sales this year.

    Important:
    Search engine marketing works well when you do it right but if you don’t do it right to be huge money pit and all you do is waste your money and time so don’t jump into it or hire a firm just because you’re excited about them or their client list make sure that you know what you’re doing.

    Everyone is always blabbering about how great social media advertising is not very many of them have successfully generated sales leads or anything of that nature they’re just spewing misdirected and imperfect information.

    Here’s the truth about social media advertising!

    Social media advertising is great when you know your customers are. No their age their gender you know where they live you know what they like you know what their interests are you know what job title they have no company they work for Etc.

    With this information you can write ads targeted toward this demographic data.

    You can then provide valuable educational information which will attract leads and likes to your social media profiles.

    You can then communicate with your social media followers and leads over and over again.

    This is the best way that I can think of social media advertising and the value of it today.

    There’s a lot of hype out there but the truth is social media advertising is very powerful for targeting specific people based on their interest likes job roles etc. and then getting them into your lead funnel.

    email marketing
    Everything you do should be pushing people to get into your email database.

    Your email database is like your own ATM machine and you should treat it so baby and take care of it and treat it very well.

    First you should always email your existing customer database and take reorders this is the dead simple way to get new customers that most people completely ignore and neglect.

    Second you should use email marketing to nurture leads warm them up and get them to raise their hand when they’re ready to buy from you.

    Until you have mastered these three marketing platforms I would not mess around with anything else.

    These three marketing methods have brought me and my clients the most revenue in the easiest and simplest form.

    Please avoid shiny object syndrome when it comes to marketing and make sure you get these basics down first and then and only then go on to other platforms.

    The end of the day you want your potential customers to already identify that they have the problem that you saw and that they want to talk to you because they think you can solve it in this will turbocharger sales better than anything else that you can do.

    How To Make Sure You Always Win At SEO

    Yes, SEO is great when it works for you, but most of the time it is a big waste of time and money.

    I am telling you this because our clients are using SEO to attract leads and customers every day. I’m not just pitching you theory at you.

    The ugly truth is that you must know what you are doing and what you’ll get before you spend a dime on SEO services.

    Here’s the approach that we use to make sure we always win at SEO:

    1. We use Google Adwords to bid on our desired keywords first. We track everything so that we know which keywords are generating traffic, leads and customers. This lets us know exactly what words to focus on when it comes to SEO.
    2. Once we know which keywords make us money from our Google Adwords testing we then target these keywords in our SEO efforts.

    Most people go about SEO all wrong and almost always fail.

    1. The start by guessing which keywords are best
    2. They spend a lot of money and time (months to years) to get rankings
    3. Sometimes they get rankings and sometimes they don’t
    4. When they do get rankings after spending thousands of dollars and months of time they find out that the words they rank for do not generate revenue for them
    5. FAIL!

    You can avoid this failure by using Google Adwords or any other PPC search marketing platform to first determine which keywords generated revenue, then you focus your SEO efforts around these keywords.

    If you get rankings for these keywords you can be confident that you’ll make money from them. This is the smart approach.

    How To Sell More Products & Services By Letting Your Customers Find You When They Need You

    Look, if you want to sell more “stuff” you need to be seen as a “helper”.

    When you cold call and use interruption based advertising to reach your customers you are often time seen as a pest.

    Think about it, do you feel trusting when someone calls you out of the blue and wants to sell you something? I didn’t think so!

    One of the best ways to be seen as a helper is to use search marketing to put yourself in front of your potential customer when she is searching for a solution to her problem.

    You then provide her with helpful information that positions you as the expert and the helper.

    This simple process can make the difference from sales success versus failure.

    Make yourself the trusted adviser and not the uninvited  pest.

    Obviously there are a lot more details around how search marketing works, but the point is to use it so that you can reach your potential customer when she’s looking for you versus the other way around.
